ATomic: Periodic Table of Elements and Orbital Simulation

Atmoic combines two functions into one app. On the one hand, it serves as a period system of elements for the pocket with all important information about the respective elements. And on the other hand it is a simulation tool for orbitals of atoms. By visualizing the orbitals, the user gets an understanding of the orbital model and the associated probable location (Schrödinger equation) of electrons.

1. Periodic Table of Elements

The periodic table contains all important information about the respective elements. This includes the classification, atomic radius, electronegativity, electron configuration, melting temperature etc. Furthermore, you will find a 2-dimensional representation of the element in the form of the Borsches atomic model, where the occupation of the shells is visualized and shown numerically. An atomic radius dashboard gives a quick overview of the atomic size of each, elements. The additional search function offers the possibility to search for single elements.

2. Orbital Simulation

The orbital simulation tool is used to understand the orbital model in general. The common orbitals are displayed in an  transparent 3-dimensional form and can be viewed individually by the user. In addition, there is the possibility of electron simulation. Furthermore, information about orbitals and the general orbital theory can be retrieved.
